Shadow Fallen

📚📚ARC Review ðŸ“šðŸ“š

Book: Shadow Fallen

Author: Sherilyn Kenyon

Publishing Date: April 12, 2022

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Genre: Paranormal Romance, Fantasy

Sherilyn Kenyon is one of my favourite authors and I’m happy to say this book didn’t disappoint.

Ariel was an Arel who was cursed and sent to earth through no fault of hers. Valteri has a disfigurement that has gained him nothing but hatred, pain and torture.

The romance, the action, the medley of old and new characters all woven together made for a really great read. I got beauty and the beast vibes from the story.

Valteri and Ariel were so good together. The love they had for each other was amazing. I loved how Ariel went so far to protect the man she loved.

The Party at Number 12

Book: The Party at Number 12

Author: Kerry Wilkinson

Publishing Date: Mar 12, 2022

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Genre: Mystery

This book left me sad and honestly wanting to smack some sense into Hannah, the MC.

This is about a house party or you can call it a get together like Hannah insisted throughout the book. One of the guests dies and it’s chalked up to and accident.

Things escalate from there as secrets are revealed. I didn’t know what was happening. It’s not like the books I usually read. It was different and slightly dull in parts.

Ghost of a Promise

📚📚Review ðŸ“šðŸ“š

Book: Ghost of a Promise

Author: Kelly Moran

Publishing Date: Feb 1, 2022

Date Read: 3/8

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre: Horror, Paranormal Romance, Ghosts

An absolutely amazing love story. Throw in ghosts from over 200 years ago and it’s magic.

Ava Trumble needs to find solid proof of what happened to Sarah Kerrick, true love of her ancestor, Peter Trumble, or she will lose the Trumble mansion.

Enter, Jackson, host and lead investigator for the paranormal TV show Phantoms.

It’s a beautifully written tale of love, loss, grief and finding home. Knowing you aren’t alone and peace which comes from belonging.

All the characters are very interesting and I’m looking forward to reading more about them.

This was the first book in the Phantoms trilogy.

Thank you NetGalley for the e-book in exchange for my honest review.

How to Spot a Psychopath

📚📚ARC Review ðŸ“šðŸ“š

Book: How to Spot a Psychopath

Author: M.Q. Webb

Publishing Date: April 20, 2022

Date Read: 3/4

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre: Suspense, Psychological Thriller, Mystery

My first time reading this author and I was kept riveted. A remarkable book with good writing and interesting characters.

A missing girl, a quiet woman who’s a mom too is arrested. Jessica Green doesn’t speak up. Is she guilty or not?

Psychiatrist, Dr. Oscar de la Nuit is determined to save Jessica Green. Will his efforts pay off? Will the missing girl ever be found? Those are the questions and you’d get the answers only if you read this brilliant book.

The best part, this was the first book in a series and that means more books and Dr. Oscar de la Nuit!!

The Last Nightingale

📚📚Review ðŸ“šðŸ“š

Book: The Last Nightingale

Author: Anthony Flacco

Publishing Date: Mar 15, 2022

Date Read: 3/3

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Genre: Suspense, Thriller, Mystery, Historical Fiction

My first time reading this author and I was kept riveted. This book read very different than most other thrillers.

Sergeant Blackburn and Shane Nightingale. Two unlikely partners when it comes to solving crimes. Shane Nightingale is only 12 and the sole survivor and witness to the brutal killings of his adoptive family.

A well written book with likeable characters. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a happy ending for the kids and Sergeant Blackburn.

The Bright and Breaking Sea

This was a rather interesting read!! A Captain and a Viscount thrown together for a mission for the Crown. What’s the result, fireworks 💥

Entertaining and pretty awesome action. The magic was interesting. Kit Brightening and Rian Grant are so good together!

I listened to the audiobook 🎧 and it was really good. The narrator Danielle Cohen is a pleasure to listen to.
